The Music and Arts Ministry
The Music and Arts Ministry will continue its primary goal of supporting the vision of the church, to be a light in the community and the world. Through the enhancement of both weekly worship services and special church wide events, the Music and Arts Ministry strives to increase the spiritual enrichment of the congregation, by utilizing a comprehensive strategy to integrate a Christ-centered, spiritual based, educational, diverse and extraordinary program.
The Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry exists to re-introduce Jesus to the city of Atlanta and the world by leveraging the power of prayer! Watch God work in a powerful way because you prayed. If you love to pray, sign-up today!
The Social Justice Ministry
The Social Justice Ministry seeks not just to provide immediate assistance to those in need, we also seek to dismantle systems and institutions that cause unjust vulnerability. Through activism and advocacy this ministry seeks to identify and stand against economic, social, and political oppression. We believe that this mission falls in line with both the teachings and works of Jesus.
Strategic Community Partnerships
Strategic Community Partnerships seeks to partner with these community-based individuals/organizations to be “the hands and feet of Jesus”. Hundreds of people and organizations in Atlanta and around the world are already doing God’s Kingdom work daily! We believe working with those already doing the work, we can reach thousands!
Small Groups
Small Groups offer the opportunity to delve deeper into our love for God, engage in meaningful community, and practice the application of spiritual growth disciplines. These core-curriculum-focused meetings allow us to invest in the relationships with other participants in an intimate environment and encourages applicable spiritual development. Small Group Sessions meet throughout the week, outside of our traditional worship services depending on leader and member availability.
Media Ministry
Media Ministry helps in fostering an engaging spirit filled worship experience. Media oversees media and technical aspects of worship services, producing and editing video, and ensuring a stellar online worship broadcast.
Communications
Communications provides a means to communicate with all external church members as well as maintain a sense of brand consistency with constant elevation. Our mission is to keep our community connected and engaged through a variety of communication systems and tools.
The Online Engagement Team
The Online Engagement Team leads, designs, and builds the next generation online interface and points of connection for Revision Church Atlanta to help our online community deepen their love for God, engage in meaningful community, increase their biblical knowledge, and apply spiritual growth practices.
The Greeter’s Team
Greeters help our community feel welcome, warm, and safe. Greeting people as they enter the facility is more than a handshake and a smile. It is an opportunity to express God’s love through Christ and help set the tone of the upcoming worship service.
The Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry aims to introduce children to Jesus and His love for us all through fun and engaging activities in person and at home with parents. Our mission is for children to build a solid relationship with God that grows as they grow.
The Ministry Support Team
The Ministry Support Team at Revision Church Atlanta is responsible for providing logistical and security support to the church’s ministries. The department includes a team of professionals who are dedicated to helping the church achieve its mission of “reintroducing Jesus to the city of Atlanta.” The department also works closely with the church’s other departments to ensure that all ministries are running smoothly. The Ministry Support department is committed to providing excellent service to the church’s members and guests, and to helping the church make a difference in the Atlanta community.
- You can either host a group or join a group. All groups are held in person. If you are local to the Atlanta Metro area or a part of our online community (Revisoneer), you can host a location-based group or an organic group.
- Location-based groups are open to anyone within proximity to that location. Anyone in that location (even if it’s Melbourne, Australia) can join that group if they can access it. Location-based groups can be local (Atlanta Metro), national (within the US), and international (outside the US).
- For example, A host in Melbourne, Australia, can be a location-based group. So anyone within the Melbourne area can join that group. The host may want to invite some of their friends or neighbors to ensure they have a group of at least 3.
- Organic groups are leader-formed and are created through organic relationships with intentionality. Organic groups are not published for everyone to sign-up to join.
- If you prefer not to host a group, that is ok. You can sign-up and join a location-based group or you can join an organic group with your friends and family.
- Every 4th Saturday of the month you will meet with your group to pause, reflect, and connect.
- Each group will follow a recorded teaching that will be available on Youtube on the Thursday evening of Selah Sabbaths. In addition, each group will be provided discussion questions related to the video.
- In your groups you will make friends, discover rest, and connect with God.
